No mate, it's a nice and warm (room-temperature) McEwan's Export, on hold until we retain the Ashes (we only need to draw the series to retain them).

Jim:- the government officially turned off all water from the Murray except for farmers who have a crop about to be harvested.

Water is now ONLY available to towns and farms which do not have drinking water.

Scientists expect no more than 20% of the average rainfall for december.

As I write this the entire Sydney basin is in a thick fog of bush-fire smoke.. and it is currently 40c in the mountains at 7.35pm...

Too bad their start wasn't the same as their finish eh?
The pohutukawa trees down Main St are starting to flower, but the huge tree over the road from me is still buds. By judging by the amount of grey we are in for a good showing. Maybe the cold, wet winter they had in my absence was good for bud formation!
