Every afternoon, just before dusk, the sky is filled with rooks flying south for the night. In the summer it was late evening they came over. Every day it's the same. They make a wonderful racket!
I'm never up in the morning to see them flying north again!
today's word is 'resivers'
Oh, the next verification word is 'mismak'.
Aren't they getting interesting? Why are you moderating your comments?
Beautiful picture!
I wonder where the swifts are right now.
My goodness, you get around. Wonderful capture there. I have a friend who lives here, she was a great help to me when the children were young - it was her first adventure away from home. She has blossomed into a lovely woman over the years. I keep promising to visit..
(ps. More wood nymphs have been a-visiting.)
Beautiful shot Maalie.
Thanks for generous comments everyone. I will visit your blogs soon.
Lorenzo, the rooks will be on their way to foraging grounds at the very first grey of dawn.
Merisi: The swifts are in southern Africa no0w. They will stay in flight until they nest on some northern tower next spring. They eat, sleep and even do the runcible things in flight.
Shrinky: Yes, Poland is a lovely country. I recommend a visit! Say hello to the Wood Nymphs!
This is a very nice capture of perspective and with the colors of the bldg against that blue sky..makes for a great Skywatch photo! Thank you for visiting my blog today. I am glad that you got to visit the Everglades, I know the birds in that area are beautiful!! Have a great weekend.
