Yes, I am in the Shetland Islands!
I am staying in the tiny hamlet you can see on the hillside (to the right) on the island of Yell, Shetland. The water is Whaal Firth, the Shetland equivalent of a fjord.

I once stayed in Fauske, just above the Arctic Circle in Norway, and it had the same kind of very low relief as this landscape. It certainly is a special kind of 'cold' beauty.

Immense skies and beautiful landscape! The white pony seems to be mesmerized by your camera. I never knew that Shetland Ponies could be white too. The Maalie in flight looks very majestic. All animals seems to pose for you! :-)
